Shayan Keshvadi

Young, passionate, and charismatic are a couple words we can use to describe our ambitious Head Chef/Part Owner. Having grown up in a family where quality food was a staple, Shayan finds comfort in being in the kitchen and preparing delicious meals.

Growing up on the North Shore, from an early age of 14, Shayan started his first job as a dishwasher at Earls in North Vancouver where he learned values of hard work and respect. Steadily he progressed through various positions in the Earls’ kitchen. Later on, he ventured onto working at the Beach House as well as gaining some French Fine Dining experience.

Throughout his culinary experience Shayan has built great networks and gained valuable skillsets. On graduating from Sentinel Secondary, Shayan worked as a Financial Service Representative at Vancity for a period of two years. Although he greatly values his experience at Vancity, his passion for the culinary industry and his love for cooking has brought him back to where his heart is at. In the kitchen! Shayan strives to bring forth his passion for quality, comfort food at Chop & Chew.
